Upon entry of key trigger dates, PATTSY will automatically add the appropriate action items throughout the Patent and Trademark application process. The "pre-defined action" or "country law file" is the core of AutoDocket and contains more than 2000 pre-defined action definitions covering over 200 countries throughout the world. Users can completely customize their docket strategy by modifying and/or augmenting the contents.

PATTSY will automatically insert the particulars including the action's due date, extensions, final date, call up period, etc. This functionality extends to all included action definitions (e.g., office actions, final rejections, maintenance fees, etc.) Users can also specify the responsible people to receive each due date on their docket or calendar report. This "Docket Directing" feature suppresses unnecessary "clutter" by ensuring that attorneys, paralegals and other staff only receive the actions of interest on their personal docket.

INTERACTIVE DOCKET

The Interactive Docket is a supplement to the classic "hard copy" docket report. PATTSY can be configured on a user-by-user basis to display the Interactive Docket upon system login. In so doing, an attorney or paralegal can view their entire current workload and address their calendar items each morning interactively. The Interactive Docket can be used to close completed actions “on the fly” and provides a direct link to inspect the underlying patent or trademark record, thereby providing a fully automated due date calendar.
