FORMS LIBRARY
O P Solutions has created a forms library to assist in the prosecution and maintenance of Patent and Trademark matters in the U.S. and PCT. All forms (the patent transmittal, trademark transmittal, PCT Demand, etc, etc.) work in conjunction with the PATTSY letter and forms generator. As such, the user only needs to select a form from within the appropriate patent or trademark record and PATTSY will automatically fill-in the available field information. The form will then be ready for printing or editing and subsequent submission to the PCT or USPTO as may be the case.
EMAIL REMINDERS
The optional Email Reminder Module is designed as a supplement to PATTSY’s printed dockets. On a nightly basis, individual reminders will be generated for open action items in close proximity to their due dates and sent via Outlook or other email service. It is an excellent feature for those interested in effective risk management.
WEB ACCESS MODULE
The Web Interface is an ASP based product that runs on Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) that provides secure access to PATTSY from any PC connected to the internet. The Interface, which and can be used by in-house staff and/or clients, provides read-only access to patent and trademark data. The query capability of PATTSY’s web interface is modeled after PATTSY’s advanced search tool, which allows users to easily perform complicated queries. Users can view entire records, print status reports and/or run dockets.
BAR CODE OPTION
The primary purpose of the optional Bar Code feature is to enable any user to readily identify the exact location of any file folder. The feature will also keep a running history of recent file locations. In addition to folder location, records can be retrieved using a bar code wand or hand held scanning device instead of manually typing the matter number in the find or advanced search screens. The Bar Code feature is enabled for all PATTSY modules including Patents, Trademarks, General Matters and Licenses.
